The process of registering organizations in the “Ruach Tova” database

The “Ruach Tova” organization was established in order to increase the database of volunteers in the country and to make the possibility of volunteering accessible to everyone.In order to create a maximal supply of volunteers, every organization and association that activates volunteers can register in the organization database, by detailing the type and the possible volunteering done. Every organization registered will appear on the volunteer search page for the one looking to volunteer, as well as in Identity Card which contains a short descriptive profile of all the organizations active through “Ruach Tova”.

How does it work?

Filling a short organizational questionnaire, which details the need for volunteers, and the kinds of volunteering and projects that require volunteers. It's important to portray every volunteer project that exists in the organization, in order for there to be maximal suitability between the wishes of the volunteer and the needs of the organization wishing to recruit volunteers. The more information about the requirements of the volunteers, the better “Ruach Tova” will be able to match and connect volunteers to the organization.

The information that will appear on the volunteer search page will include maximal details about the project, but will not include personal details about the organization or the name of the volunteer coordinator in it. Personal details will be kept in the “Ruach Tova” database only.
